A little background on myself

  I come from a small town in the U.S. not saying where for privacy reasons. I am now 18 and navigating adulthood even though it hasn't gotten rough yet. I am definitely not prepared like I thought I would be but that's okay because who is? Anyway I just thought we should get on a basis because a lot about a first impression really sets the tone for how we react to a person. Why I am so grateful for the Lord

 So growing up I definitely was raised as a person who believed in God and everything but as I got older I definitely grew away from him. Well recently I started reading my bible everyday and doing my bible notes. There has been a few weeks where it just like felt like my world was crumbling apart. My boyfriend lost his job when going to put in his two weeks, I had some family problems, constantly freaking out about money. Then when I opened my bible and started reading I just felt less nervous I began praying if I felt scared or like if I was going to be in a bad spot. Later my boyfriend got his job about a week later, we have food in our belly everynight and we aren't struggling like we were or how we thought we were going to. I prayed and God helped me and still today I do have trouble giving everything to God. I tend to take over and want to get scared and control everything around me when we should just let God take control. He is the farmer and he is the one planting the seed...

Dear Diary 1

 Hey diary, started a blog... will it go anywhere? most likely not but hey lets chat. SO my name is Laken but my friends call me Lae. What is really important me is that I make this blog a safe space for people who relate to thing that I do. I feel like sometimes im not trying hard enough or not doing enough for the people in my life. Definitely doing a diary blog is probably not the best thing to do for this feeling but hey what's the harm.
